Mission
Every project is an opportunity to learn, iterate, and grow. My journey in design is shaped by a passion for solving real problems and crafting experiences that provide value. I believe in the power of research, cross-collaboration, and thoughtful iteration to bring ideas to life.
I strive to create solutions that are not only functional but also delightful for users- reflecting a deep understanding of their needs. I approach each challenge with curiosity, commitment to clarity, and integral collaboration. Collaboration is central to my approach, as I actively build relationships across disciplines to foster shared ownership and efficient, thoughtful problem-solving.
Background
I didn’t set out to become a UX Designer. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology, preparing for a path toward medical school. With years of research experience and a foundation in analytical thinking, transitioning into design felt like stepping into a completely different world.
But once I discovered UX design, I realized it was the perfect intersection of research and creativity. It transformed how I approached problems—humanizing my analytical mindset and encouraging me to see challenges from multiple perspectives. I stopped searching for definitive answers and started uncovering possibilities. Now, I design with empathy, advocate for real human needs, and build experiences that make a meaningful impact.
Fun Facts
Golfing
I used to think PGA Golf was the most boring thing on TV—just background noise on the sports channel. Fast forward 15 years, and now it’s one of my favorite pastimes. Have I hit a hole-in-one? Not yet! If I had, I might be chasing a pro career by now. My favorite club? Definitely the driver. My longest shot so far is 150 yards, and I’m aiming to break 200 someday. Fingers crossed!
